Japan Vilene was established in 1960 as a joint venture between two Japanese companies, Dainippon Ink & Chemicals and Toray Industries, and a German company Freudenberg as a nonwoven fabrics manufacturer. Over the years, we have expanded our business fields and supported our customer industries through our state-of-the-art technologies and active R&D efforts, and have gained a reputation across many industries as a leading nonwoven fabrics manufacturer. We have also developed and expanded our core business in nonwovens together with our customers in the domestic market as well as in different parts of the world, especially into the East Asian region including China, Taiwan, Korea, as well as in North America, becoming locally based in each area. The company is working closely on a global basis with Freudenberg, who is the world's top nonwovens company, through our constant exchange of information and knowledge on management, R&D and marketing. Our partnership with Freudenberg enables us to quickly receive the latest, accurate and sufficient information, consequently allowing us to conduct our research and to promptly respond to the market and our customer's needs. We will leverage our strength to create new values and provide products and services of outstanding quality and in doing so fulfill our corporate social responsibility. We also aim to build relationships of trust with customers, shareholders, local communities, employees, and other stakeholders. We hope that this commitment will continue to earn the understanding and support of our stakeholders. Mitsuo Kanno President Japan Vilene Company, Ltd. |
